"Show, don't tell" — advice applicable to Web tools as it is to acting. In this section of the site, you'll find numerous examples of what's possible with FlashBang! from straight-forward designs to out-there experiments.
Leading off our design portfolio, are three examples by well-known designer and author, Linda Rathgeber:
- FaceMachine - A table-based layout incorporating buttons from the PixaLova collection, with sounds and drop-down menus (click either the Blushers or Shadows category for a demonstration).
- Cadillac Cafe - In this tasty example, FlashBang buttons from the Drone collection are positioned with <div> tags.
- Globaltrekkers - A worldly design using buttons from the Glyph-Control collection to activate pop-up window and a simple form button. (Not optimized for Netscape 4.x.)
If you need to build a multi-lingual site, you should check out our own Edo Zubler's demo that includes FlashBang buttons in a user-selectable language: English, Italian, and German. While it could be done in any server-side language, this version was done in ColdFusion.
Among the earlier demos are one on forms and another demonstrating sub-menus with FlashBang (and a whole heck of a lot of JavaScript :-). |
